A series of night tourism promotion activities will take place from December 19–21, 2025, at Hanoi Book Street (19/12), Cua Nam Ward. The program is designed to introduce distinctive night tourism products to both domestic and international visitors, while reinforcing Hanoi’s image as a safe, friendly, high-quality, and attractive destination.

A key focus is developing a vibrant night tourism space in Cua Nam Ward—an area rich in cultural, historical, and revolutionary heritage—aimed at creating a new highlight for the city, stimulating tourism-driven economic growth, increasing visitor spending, and extending length of stay.

Inspired by the lyric “Hanoi is so beautiful!” from Nguoi Ha Noi by composer Nguyen Dinh Thi, the theme celebrates the city’s nighttime beauty through sound, music, emotions, and artistic expressions that define Hanoi’s unique character after dark.

Cycling Tour Powered by Technology

On the evening of December 17, the Hanoi Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Vietnam Sustainable Tourism Company (VIETNAM STID) and TNGo, introduced a pilot night cycling tour. This activity is part of a series of events launching Hanoi’s new night tour experience, which will take place from December 19–21 at Hanoi Book Street under the city’s night tourism program.

The tour is operated via the TNGo public bicycle application, allowing visitors to easily access and independently choose their nighttime exploration routes around Hanoi. According to Mr. Phung Quang Thang, Chairman of the Vietnam Green Tourism Association, the night cycling tour is a pioneering experiential tourism product that harmoniously combines urban heritage, eco-friendly physical activity, and digital technology.

A standout feature of the tour is its GPS-based automatic audio guide system, which activates narration as cyclists pass each landmark. Every stop reveals a slice of history and an urban memory, told in a concise, vivid, and emotional way that suits the nighttime atmosphere.

This experience is convenient for domestic visitors and highly accessible for international tourists, thanks to multilingual support, contributing to a more modern, civilized, and sustainable approach to heritage interpretation.

Visitors simply scan a QR code to download the TNGo bike app and the automatic audio guide app, available in five languages, to begin their journey exploring Hanoi by night. The tour is designed with two different routes, catering to the diverse interests and needs of visitors.
