Meet at your hotel for a briefing on the bikes, gears, and the biking trail. Your adventure begins as you pedal from your hotel to the other side of the Red River. Cycling across the Long Bien Bridge, the first steel bridge spanning the Red River in Hanoi, built by the French (1899-1902) and named after Governor Paul Doumer of Indochina, pronounced as "though-love."

8:00 AM: Crossing the Duong River

Afterward, board a local boat to cross the Duong River, arriving in an agricultural area bustling with local life. Cycle through villages, past rice fields, and encounter friendly locals as you make your way to Co Loa Citadel, arriving around noon. This ancient fortress, renowned for its historical and cultural significance, captivates foreign tourists with its expansive scale and lengthy construction period. Notably, it holds relics from the Dong Son culture of the Bronze Age, offering visitors a precious opportunity to explore its vast site and potential beauty.
