8:00 : Banana Island and Long Bien Bridge

Meet at your hotel for a briefing on the bikes, gears, and the biking trails. Your adventure begins as you pedal from your hotel to the other side of the Red River. First place is Banana Island (Đảo Chuối) is situated in the middle of the Red River, accessible from both sides of Hanoi. It’s known for its lush greenery and peaceful atmosphere, providing a refreshing escape from the urban bustle. Then, we cycle across the Long Bien Bridge, the first steel bridge spanning the Red River in Hanoi, built by the French (1899-1902) and named after Governor Paul Doumer of Indochina

8:00 AM: Crossing the Duong River

Afterward, board a local boat to cross the Duong River, arriving in an agricultural area bustling with local life. We also have chance to see the Old Cannon from the French colonial period. Cycle through villages, past rice fields, and encounter friendly locals as you make your way to Co Loa Citadel, arriving after 2 hours biking. This ancient fortress, renowned for its historical and cultural significance, captivates foreign tourists with its expansive scale and lengthy construction period. Notably, it holds relics from the Dong Son culture of the Bronze Age, offering visitors a precious opportunity to explore its vast site and potential beauty. Step back in time thousands of years as you navigate this spiral-shaped complex, delving into the mysteries of ancient Vietnam.

11:00 AM: Fruit or Tea Break

After visiting the Citadel, we
take a tea break while cycling in Hanoi. It can be a delightful and relaxing experience, offering a chance to rejuvenate amidst the city's vibrant atmosphere. Coconut or seasonal fruit will be good for cycling adventure.

12:00 PM:Cycle back Hanoi

Around noon time, you can leisurely cycle around the historical sites before our vehicle picks you up or if you want more cycling, ride back to our workshop to return bikes and car/ taxi back hotel. Tour ends
